Nearly a year laterChristmas Eve morning my pain management doctor will kill the facet joint nerves with microwave heating on the left side of my neck. C3, C4, C5, C6.
Once recovered I hope to be able to physically do more weaving and other fiber arts. Have a lot of ideas in my sketchbook, so it is a matter of having the energy again.
My New Years focus will be my job search--working with the IL Division of Rehabilitation Services, creating art that now lives in my head and on the pages of my sketchbook, recovering from the Cervical Rhizotomy and getting back on my feet as best I can. There are going to be limitations I will have to learn to live with--this disease is progressive so hope to slow the progress with aerobic, stretching, and strengthening exercises.
It has been a tough year in many ways--glad it is almost over and hoping 2009 will be a much better year for me.
Nervous
I know it has been a long time since we have talked, how are you doing? Kyle and I are managing. It looks like he will have a job again soon. I’m stressing out about my mid program review while trying to plan our wedding. Speaking of which do you happen to have a list of important family members we should invite? Address would be great too. Kyle wants a small wedding, but I don’t think he understands my definition of a small wedding. Hopefully once I show him the list of guest he will understand. Miss you much. Write back soon.
